This cap is a 28mm (28-400) white electrolytic tinplate (tin coated steel) cap with a full disc plastisol liner. This closure is typically used on glass bottles, jars, and jugs. This continuous threaded (CT) cap and has a white exterior with a gold interior and gold knurled edge. Plastisol is a common liner that is used for applications such as food canning and vacuum packing because it provides a hermetic seal (or airtight seal). It is recommended for high temperature applications (container must be able to withstand high temperatures as well).
